Human Banner Walk In Angels Camp Saturday

Angels Camp, CA — Organizers of the Calaveras County Relay For Life will be painting the town purple this weekend to get the word out about the annual fundraising event for the American Cancer Society.

Balloons and posters will be put up all around Angels Camp before the Human Banner Walk at 10 a.m.

It´s a notice to the community that Relay For Life is coming up on April 28 and 29 at Bret Harte High School.

The Human Banner Walk is made up of a row of people each donning a letter to spell out Relay For Life.

The group will travel from the Angels Firehouse on Highway 4 to the Mark Twain Shopping Center on the other end of town. They will end up at the Visitors Center for a bake sale and drawing.
