Angels Camp, CA — Two San Jose teenagers on their way to go snowboarding tangled with a Mark Twain Elementary School bus Friday afternoon injuring five students.

CHP officer Mike Maddox says two of those students were taken by ambulance to Mark Twain St. Joseph´s Hospital where they are being treated for minor injuries. The other three students complained of pain after the accident and were taken home by their parents.

The five students were sitting in the rear of the bus when it was struck by a 2001 Jeep Wrangler driven by 19-year old Grant Coor.

CHP says Coor was traveling towards Angels Camp on Highway 4 near Stallion Way as the bus was headed towards Copperopolis. Coor lost control of his vehicle, crossed the double yellow lines and side swiped the left rear of the bus.

There were 75 students on board.

Coor and his passenger 18-year old Jill Olstinske of San Jose were uninjured.
