Grammy Winning Group Comes To Lode

Angels Camp, CA — The New Christy Minstrels, who won a Grammy for their debut album nearly 45 years ago, are back at it again and will be in Angels Camp Saturday.
Group founder and Calaveras County resident Randy Sparks will lead the singing troupe for two shows at the Bret Harte Performing Arts Theatre in Angels Camp.

These shows kick off the Calaveras Arts Council Ovations performing arts series. Other performances include the Pacific Coast Horns, the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir and the Printz Dance Project.
