CHP Teams Up With Santa’s Express Toy Drive

San Andreas, CA — The San Andreas CHP Office is participating in a Toy Drive to benefit those who are in need this season, and are asking residents to consider donating a new-unwrapped holiday gift for a child.

Officer Jaime Castillo says, ?It´s been a great response so far, but there are still families that can use some holiday assistance.?

This year collected items will benefit Santa´s Express, a division of the Calaveras Human Resources Council, for distribution to those in need.

Donations of toys suitable for children up to the age of 12, and new clothing for ages 13 to 16, are accepted. Non perishable food items can also be deposited in the collection boxes.

Individuals wishing to donate can stop by the San Andreas CHP Office at 749 Mountain Ranch Rd. between the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
