Calaveras Firefighter Accused Of Sexual Molestation

San Andreas, Ca — A firefighter employed by the Jenny Lind Fire Department has been arrested for alleged child molestation.
39-year-old Albert Engel Jr. faces charges of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14 and continuous sexual abuse of a child.
The Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department says that the case began when the female victim reported the abuse to her school teacher. Investigators were told that Engel abused the victim multiple times over a seven year period.
Engel was booked into County Jail, and released on $430,000 bail.
