Johnson Speaks On Economic Development

Angels Camp, Ca — Tim Johnson with the California Business Minute out of Sacramento was the keynote speaker at the Economic Development Summit in Calaveras County last month, and today he returned to the County to speak at the Chamber of Commerce´s Quarterly Business Luncheon.
?We are in a recession and economic growth has been altered,? says Johnson. ?Now they are going to have to really embrace economic development. That was my message at the Summit, and I that was what I was trying to reiterate here today.?
Johnson added that the business community must stay focused, organized, directed, and have benchmarks of achievement.
Today´s luncheon was held at Greenhorn Creek.
