$24,000 Raised Through Dancing With The Tuolumne County Stars

Sonora, CA — YES Partnership and Friday Night Live Program Director Shana Monaco says $24,000 was raised by the non-profit entities Saturday evening through the First Annual Dancing With the Tuolumne County Stars competition at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds.

Monaco says next year the event may seek a new venue, perhaps the dome at Columbia College to allow for more spectators.

Monaco says her organization may try a different approach to selecting judges … perhaps from a field of former dancers.

Overall she was pleased with the presentation, the quality of the dancers and, of course, the funds raised. She also enjoyed the opportunity to share the goal of the YES Partnership and Friday Night Live with the capacity crowd at the John Muir Buidling.
