Bosteder Arrested On D.U.I. Charge
Sonora, CA — 51 year old Christy Bosteder of Copperopolis suffered major injuries at approximately 9:40pm Sunday following a single vehicle accident on O´Byrnes Ferry Rd. north of Peoria Flat Rd.
According to the CHP report Bosteder was northbound traveling in excess of 55mph when she crossed over the double yellow lines in an effort to pass a slower moving vehicle.
Because of oncoming traffic Bosteder was forced to return to the northbound lane where she lost control of her 2004 silver Mercedes. The vehicle proceeded down an embankment, collided with a large rock and became airborne finally coming to a stop in a dirt field.
Bosteder was lifeflighted to Doctor´s Hospital in Modesto. She was arrested for driving-under-the-influence of alcohol.
