NWS Revises Winter Storm Warning For Mother Lode

Sonora, Ca — The National Weather Service says that a Winter Storm Warning is now set to go into effect at noon today and continue until 6pm this evening.
Snow levels are expected to dip to around 1,500 ft. this morning and early afternoon and then rise to above 3,000 ft. by this evening. The National Weather Service says that because of the fluctuating levels, snow amounts will be variable. Six to 12 inches is projected at 3,000 ft. in elevation.
