Look Out For Bicyclists This Weekend In Calaveras

Murphys, Ca — Bicyclists from across the region will be in Calaveras County Saturday for the 2008 Sierra Century Bicycle Tour.
The event, hosted by the Sacramento Wheelman Bicycling Club, is expected to draw anywhere from 700 to 1,200 riders. There is both a 50 and 100 mile course, and both begin and end at Ironstone Vineyards in Murphys.
The routes were planned using less vehicular traveled roads. Extra CHP Officers will be assigned along the route. The course will be open from 6am to 5:30pm.
