Fire Near Lake Don Pedro Now 800 Acres

La Grange, Ca — Fire crews are having trouble getting a handle on the large vegetation fire near Lake Don Pedro off J-59 and Bonds Flat Rd.
The fire started shortly at 2pm, and CAL Fire is reporting that the blaze has spread to 800 acres, and it is now considered only 20% contained. Two structures have been lost.
Travel is difficult in the area, as J-59 has been blocked off at the Bonds Flat Rd. and Hwy 132 intersections.
Working the fire are 16 state engines, six dozers, nine fire crews, one air-attack, two air tankers, one helicopter and two water tenders. At least two structures have been destroyed.
