Sonora, CA — Several corrections must be made to a story we posted Monday, Oct. 5 entitled “Timber Industry Strikes Gold.”
Morrison C. England was identified as a Ninth U.S. Court of Appeals judge when in fact he is a District Court judge.
In addition his motion to throw out an amendment to the 2004 Framework that would have limited loggers to only thinning trees up to 12 inches in diameter is now pending before the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco.
