Foreclosures Continue To Increase In Tuolumne County

Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County foreclosures took a dramatic jump from May to June.
According to Tuolumne County Recorder Patsy Knox foreclosures increased by 52 percent. In May there were 23 trustee deeds. In June 35 were recorded.
In 2008 there were 93 trustee deeds recorded in the first six months of the year. This year there were 131 trustee deeds recorded during the January through June time period for a 40 percent increase.
