Sheriff Mele Schedules Town Hall Meeting in South Tuolumne County

The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Dept. has scheduled a town hall meeting for the residents of southern Tuolumne County beginning at 7pm on Wednesday January 21st.

Sheriff Jim Mele was KVML´s Thursday morning Newsmaker of the Day.

Mele will attend the Town Hall meeting in person along with a few of his Deputies. Also in attendance will be Tuolumne County´s newest Supervisor, John Gray of Groveland.

“The residents of that section of Tuolumne County often feel a bit of a disconnect from the rest of us, so we would like to meet with as many residents as possible and listen to their concerns.” Mele said. “In the past, these meetings have been very well attended.”

The Town Hall meeting will take place inside of the Don Pedro Hacienda, which is located on Highway J-59 (La Grange Road) across the street from Bonds Flat Road.
