November has started with above normal temperatures for this time of year.
Downtown Sonora saw a high reading of 83 degrees on Wednesday and similar readings will take place again today and possibly Friday.
Beginning on Saturday, things will cool down to a much more normal weather pattern for this area, with high temperatures reaching only into the 60s every day, next week.
All three local mountain passes remain open with no restrictions, including Sonora Pass (Hwy 108), Ebbetts Pass (Hwy 4) and Tioga Pass (Hwy 120).
