Black Oak Casino World Series Kick Off Party

Sponsored by:

There are a couple of last minute changes for tonight’s Black Oak Casino World Series Kick Off Party.

Ron Patell, General Manager of Black Oak Casino, was Wednesday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.

World Series Games #1 and #2 features the San Francisco Giants hosting the Texas Rangers.

When Black Oak had originally scheduled tonight’s party, it was without the knowledge that the Giants would make it in. Now that the Giants are in, some of the scheduled guests have been called away to make appearances on behalf of the Giants in San Francisco.

The Kick Off Party will continue and now there are guests scheduled for both this evening as well as tomorrow night for Game #2.

Jimmy Davenport, former Giants player and manager, will be at Black Oak this evening.

Originally, Hall of Famer Orlando Cepeda was to appear this evening, however, he will now be at Black Oak on Thursday night.

Gary Hall, local author of “Baseball Legends and Legacies” will be at Black Oak both this evening and tomorrow night.

All of the special guests will be available for both photographs and autographs from 5pm – 7:30pm. The location is on the Family Floor (first floor) and there will be extra television screens and food specials in both the Mill Restaurant and Kingpins, located near the bowling alley.

The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard every weekday morning on AM 1450 KVML at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47am.
