Arson Fire In Calaveras County

Valley Springs, CA — Arson has been ruled the cause of a Wednesday afternoon vegetation fire near Valley Springs.
CAL Fire reports that it started at 3:48pm north of the Bear Creek Fishing area on Hogan Dam Road. It burned three acres of brush and grass vegetation. Firefighters remained on scene until 8:25pm for mop up. No further information is immediately available regarding the investigation.
