What is all of the activity taking place at the Motherlode Fairgrounds this morning?
It’s the first ever Senior Fair Expo, running from 7am through 2pm.
Expo Coordinator, Sandi Romena, was Wednesday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.
Fifty-six booths are furnishing information to the public on local care-giving options, insurance, medical screenings, veteran services and more.
There is also a blood draw taking place, for a minimal fee.
Romena, who also coordinates the “Motherlode Idol” competition each Summer, is inviting people to come watch the first “Senior Idol” contest beginning at 11am.
Admission into the Expo is free.
The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard each weekday morning on AM 1450 KVML at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47.
