Burn Permits Soon Required

Sonora, CA – Effective Saturday, May 1st burn permits will be required within the CAL Fire Tuolumne-Calaveras jurisdiction.
Due to recent wet weather, CAL Fire will wait until May 24 to staff all stations.
Permits will be available Monday-Friday during business hours at the CAL Fire Headquarters in San Andreas or the CAL Fire stations in Jamestown, Mono Vista, Blanchard and Twain Harte.
Burning will only be allowed on permissive burn days.
