Sonora, CA — Republican Congressman Dan Lungren will give his opinions about President Obama’s handling of the economy.
Lungren will speak about the President’s $447 billion jobs package on Mother Lode Views this weekend.
“I would like to see us pass some of the things he’s proposing,” says Lungren. “There are things that would have a somewhat positive effect, but it is minimal in comparison to the challenges we have before us.”
Lungren supports many of the tax cuts proposed, but is against spending additional money on stimulus projects. The President is proposing that some of the funding go towards rebuilding schools and roads.
Lungren represents District Three, which includes Calaveras County.
