Murder Suspect Arrested

San Andreas, CA – Acting on a tip, the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department has located murder suspect James Livezey.
Livezey was found in a remote area near Lake Hogan, and was arrested without incident. He was sleeping in a tent approximately 50 ft. from the shoreline.
Livezey initially posted bail after being arrested for assaulting 52-year-old Marvin Brown in Valley Springs in early July. Brown later died from the injuries sustained, bumping the charge up to homicide. Livezey is now being held on $1 million bail.
