Roundup Parade Street Closures
Sonora, CA– Several streets in downtown Sonora will be closed tomorrow for the annual Mother Lode Roundup Parade.
Each year thousands of people attend this springtime event. Detours will be posted for closed streets. The following are major road closures:
South Washington Street at State Highway 108 will be closed at 8:00 am.
North and South Washington Street will be closed to all traffic at 9:30 am.
Stockton Road at Green Street will be closed to all traffic at 9:30 am.
Snell Street at Bonanza will be closed to all traffic at 9:30 am.
No parking will be allowed on Washington Street from Snell to State Highway 108 between 5 am until the end of the parade. Parking will also not be allowed on Stockton Road between Washington Street and Lower Save Mart between 5 am and the end of the parade. Special signs have been posted for these no parking zones.
Vehicles parked in no parking zones will be towed.
