Latest Mother Lode County Road Closures, Reopenings
Sonora, CA – While Mother Lode county road crews continue cleaning up post-storm debris, motorists should travel with care and may continue experiencing some delays, according to county officials, who are sharing current road closure details.
Tuolumne County Community Resource Agency officials say that Old Priest Grade remains on a hard closure with no estimated time of reopening. However, two roads in the Chinese Camp area that were closed reopened earlier today: Red Hills Road and Sims Road.
Calaveras County Public Works officials report that there are two local road closures. They are Hawver Road in San Andreas, now closed at the low water crossing, and Independence Road in West Point, currently closed between Deardorff and Dogwood Pass roads.
There is also a hard closure, due to a mudslide, that remains on Highway 26 at Woodhouse Mine Road.
