Annual Heart Walk Today At Adventist Health Sonora

Sonora, CA — February is American Heart Month, and Adventist Health Sonora is promoting healthy lifestyles with its annual Heart Walk.
The community is invited to come out today and take part in the noon walk alongside staff and cardiac patients. It will begin outside the hospital’s emergency entrance and the path is one-mile long. Refreshments will be provided and the first 250 participants will receive a free t-shirt. The hospital encourages anyone interested to attend.
The hospital cites the American Heart Association, which says walking has a significant benefit in lowering your chance of heart disease.
