A Christian Christmas Celebration This Weekend
An annual Christian Christmas musical celebration will take place in Mi Wuk Village this weekend.
Pastor Patrick McDonald of the Word of Life Fellowship, was Thursday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.
“‘Magnify’ is an annual all ages community celebration that we host for everyone in Tuolumne County,” said McDonald. “It is our Christmas gift and the show is not limited to church members.”
Due to the popularity of this annual event, a third show has been added this year. The free event will take place this year on Friday 7 PM, Saturday 7 PM and Sunday 1 PM.
“Typically, we have about 100 participants with each annual show,” said McDonald.
Audiences can expect to see and hear talented musicians who play every kind of instrument, well rehearsed choirs and solo musicians and singers. Each year’s show is well choreographed and produced by members of the church.
“This is not a fundraiser for us” said McDonald. “There will be no offering. It truly is a time to celebrate and enjoy this time of the year.”
After the show, everyone is invited next door for Christmas treats and refreshments including thousands of cookies.
