Sonora, CA — Beginning Sunday evening Caltrans crews will be back on the job along several Mother Lode highways.

Sunday night through Friday morning, this week’s overnight cone zones pertaining to Caltrans’ Tuolumne County guardrail improvements project may bring ten-minute delays in a few spots. These are slated nightly along Highway 108 between Plainview Road/Twain Harte Drive and Snowhite Ridge Drive from 6 p.m. until 9 a.m.; also along Highway 49/108 between Highway 49 and Old Wards Ferry Road from 9 p.m. until 7 a.m.

Striping operations along Highway 108, planned Tuesday through Thursday between Soulsbyville and Kennedy Meadows roads from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. under a moving closure, could create brief traffic stops.

Highway 120 Delays

The 24/7 ten-minute delays continue on Highway 120 at the James E. Roberts Bridge by Lake Don Pedro as the multi-million dollar repair and replace project continues through late fall, although no overnight span closures are in the works so far this week.

On Friday along Highway 120 between Highway 49 and Red Hill Road, utility crews working from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. may slow travelers’ schedules by ten minutes.

On Highway 132 expect brief traffic hiccups Wednesday through Friday during drainage work slotted between the Stanislaus/Tuolumne county line and Highway 49 in Coulterville from 7:30 a.m. until 3 :30 p.m.

Calaveras Cone Zones

Along Highway 4, plan for ten-minute travel waits every weekday during drainage work between Upper Moran Road and Big Trees Park  from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Too, Highway 4 paving Tuesday through Friday between Angels Creek Bridge and Parrotts Ferry Road in Vallecito may also create momentary traffic delays from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.

On Highway 12 from Messing Road to Evans Road, west of Valley Springs, electrical work is scheduled every weekday, which may slow traffic for ten minutes at a time between  7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
