Caltrans Work Plans Week Of Nov. 16

Sponsored by:

Stockton, CA — Several Caltrans roadway projects in the works this week are likely to create traffic impacts in Calaveras County.

On Highway 26, each weekday, motorists should expect 15-minute delays between Happy Valley and Lower Dorray roads as Caltrans attends to miscellaneous chores there from 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

On Highway 4, drainage work each weekday is scheduled within a 20-plus mile stretch between the Stanislaus/Calaveras County Line and Highway 49 along with more focused work in the Angels Camp area on Highway 4 between Hunt and Appaloosa roads from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. that may generate ten-minute delays. Utility work continues each weekday on Highway 4 between Upper Moran Road to just east of Big Trees State Park from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. and is also likely to cause ten-minute delays.

Round-the-clock construction in Valley Springs on Highway 12 continues between Pine Street and Cosgrove Creek on the shoulder and on Highway 26 between Nove Way and Highway 12 but neither is expected to impact traffic.

However, nightly grinding work on Highway 12 between east of Pine Street and Lime Creek Road scheduled from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. Friday morning and on Highway 26 between Nove Way and Double Springs Road will set motorists back ten minutes.

Also on Highway 26, ten-minute traffic impacts are anticipated each weekday during shoulder work between Burson Road and Heinemann Lane from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. A utility crew is scheduled to work on Highway 26 daily between Main Street and Gill Haven Drive from 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. but should not interfere with motorist travel.

In Tuolumne County, along Highway 49, weekday shoulder work through Thursday planned between Columbia and Pesce ways from 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. is not likely to create any delays. Neither should the shoulder work there on Friday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
