T.U.D. Schedules Special Meetings
Sonora, CA — Some upcoming T.U.D. meetings have been scheduled to discuss the district’s long term finances, and the General Manager search.
The Board has called for a closed session meeting on Thursday, February 19 at 3pm to discuss the candidates that have applied for the General Manager position. Tom Scesa will be retiring later this year.
In addition, a meeting has been set for Monday, February 23, at 5:30pm to talk about the district’s finances and long term liabilities. Board member Kent Johnson has brought up concerns at recent meetings that long term pension and medical costs have not been included in recent finance reports, and would like the board, and ratepayers, to have a clear understanding of the debt and finances. The meeting will be open to the public.
