Gas Prices Continue Decline

Sonora, CA — The price of a gallon of gas dropped 13 cents over the past two weeks.
The Lundberg Survey puts the average national price for regular unleaded at $2.94 per gallon. The average price has fallen 78 cents since peaking in May. San Francisco has the highest average price in the lower 48 states, at $3.27 per gallon.
The drop has been driven by a decline in the price of crude oil.
The myMotherLode.com Gas Price Section shows that regular unleaded is selling in the Tuolumne and Calaveras region from $2.99 to $3.31.
