Two Fires In Tuolumne County

Tuolumne County, CA — There are two fires in Tuolumne County. One is structure fire on Tuolumne Road North in Tuolumne City. When fire fighters arrived on the scene smoke could be seen coming from the attic. Cal Fire says crews have a handle on that blaze. Click here for a map.
The other blaze is a vegetation fire on Highway 120 near Groveland. Fire fighters are battling it from the ground and air. It is about a 1/2 acre at this time. Cal Fire says they stopped the forward spread. Click here for a map.
Update 6:50PM: Cal Fire reports both fire are contained. The Groveland fire remained at 1/2 and acre. There is no word on what sparked either blaze.
