Stray cats

I have been feeding a young stray cat reluctantly and have plans to get it spay/neutered. I was upset that someone let a cat breed filling the neighborhood with non socialized wild cats. I also have a garden and took to heart the Master Gardener article “Is Your Garden a Place for Your Cat” True I have found carcasses of lizards and mice that the local cats have killed.

It really bothered me when an older cat began sneaking the food I was leaving out. Last weekend no less than five kittens showed up with the older cat! My name is on the waiting list for a trap and I will catch all the kittens. This cannot go on. The Pet Partol page has links and information about the animal shelters and animal control. Just for fun and all of us who love our pets enjoy the 7th Annual Happy Paws Dog Walk and Festival tomorrow from 9:00am-1:00pm at Memorial Park in Tuolumne.
