Grant Helps Arena Project

The Sonora Area Foundation is helping the High Country Sports Arena, being built in the former Standard plywood plant. A matching grant of more than 17 thousand dollars will get the in-line skating and roller hockey rink open by late this fall, according to the project organizers.
The arena will also be available for gymnastics,skate boarding, or any other use the community comes up with.
