No More Confusion At Yosemite Junction

CalTrans will replace a road sign on eastbound Highway 108 near the 120 junction. The change comes
after years of confusion by travelers trying to locate Yosemite National Park. All too often, misguided tourists would end up in East Sonora asking local
proprietors the whereabouts of the Park.
The existing sign which states “Yosemite Park 45 Miles Ahead” will be removed, while the “Right Turn 1/2
Mile” sign will stay. A new sign will also be placed 1/4 mile east of the 108 / 49 junction for westbound drivers, indicating a left turn to get to Yosemite.
