Merced Hospital Closing Pushed Back Again

For the second time in a month, Merced´s Mercy Medical Center will delay closing the emergency room at the Dominican Campus. Administrators agreed yesterday to push the closing date back from January second to February third. Mercy President John Headding says officials decided to delay the shut-down because the state is taking longer than expected to approve construction at the Community Campus.
