Readers of the popular vacation magazine Conde Nast Traveler have voted San Francisco the best city in the world.
About 30,000 readers cast their votes on ambiance, friendliness, restaurants, culture, lodging and shopping.
After the tally, San Francisco edged Sydney, Australia for the title.
This was also the 10th year in a row that San Francisco was picked by magazine readers as the best U.S. city, beating out New York; Charleston, South Carolina; Chicago and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
