Statewide Abduction Alert

A statewide alert has been issued for a Lassen County woman, believed abducted by her ex-boyfriend. Deputies say Susanne Michelle Lathom is 21 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighs 115 pounds. She has long, dark hair and hazel eyes, and is believed to have been wearing a white night shirt at the time of her abduction. She may also be wearing a blue jacket.

The suspect is 23-year-old Michael John Rodney II, who is 6 feet tall, weighs 156 pounds and has brown hair, green eyes and a thin build. He was driving a white Chevy Pickup truck with an orange or red stripe, tinted “Bubble Like” windows, and large wheels. He was believed headed for Oregon from Northern Lassen County. If you spot either person, you´re asked to call local law enforcement officials.
