Fire Damages Home, No One Hurt

Fire fighters have contained a house fire in the 17,000 block of Towhee Lane in Twain Harte, after just over an hour of effort. Crews arrived to find half the home engulfed in flames, just before 10:30 this morning. Spokesperson Deborah Fish says one person was rescued from inside the house, and treated for smoke inhalation.
Loss is estimated at about $200,000.00. The cause is under investigation. Quick response from CDF ground and air units held the spread of the fire to about a half acre of nearby wildland.
