Students Injured In School Bus Mishap

Two eight-year-old Valley Springs school children suffered minor injuries Monday morning when the school bus they were riding on hit an object in the road.
Bus driver 30-year-old Renee Hogan of San Andreas was slowing her bus down along Berkesey Lane preparing to make a turn onto Farris Lane when the front tire of the bus ran over an object on the shoulder of the road.
The jolt sent one student to the floor. The other was injured after hitting the seating in front of her.
The Highway patrol says the injured students were taken to Mark Twain hospital for treatment.
