State Assembly Rejects “”terrorism”” Bill

An Assembly committee is rejecting a bill that would have added “terrorism” to the list of special circumstances that can merit the death penalty.
However, terrorist acts likely would qualify under provisions covering multiple murders, murder by destructive device, or murder based on race, color, religion, nationality or country of origin.
