Identities Released On Melones Bodies

The names and cause of death of the four people who´s bodies were found in New Melones Lake in March has been released.
The bodies were those of Alexander Umansky, Rita Pekler, Georgy Safiev, and Nick Kharabadze.
All died of asphyxia either by suffocation or drowning. The reports also showed ethyl alcohol was detected in three of the victims, strangulation and acute ethanol intoxication was found in the fourth victim.
Coroner and autopsy reports will not be made public until completion of the criminal investigation, according to the sheriff´s department.
