Gasoline Prices Still Dropping

Sponsored by:

Retail gasoline prices have fallen two cents in the past two weeks.

According to a national industry report released today that two-cent drop is part of a decrease of more than 16 cents since September 12th. The drop reflects a continuing decrease since prices peaked in August due to supply problems. Two weeks ago crude oil had reached 32 dollars per barrel but has since returned to about 30 dollars per barrel.

The Lundberg Survey found the weighted average retail of gasoline prices for all grades fell to one dollar, 59 cents for the last two weeks.
