Magic Of The Night Packs Downtown Sonora

It was Magic of the Night during the annual street celebration in Sonora Friday night. Thousands of people wandered the sidewalks, shops and parks of Sonora enjoying live music, entertainment, food and displays.
There was even some impromptu dancing in Coffill Park as the Blues Box Bayou Band played Cajun music. Many of the featured bands and artists scheduled to be at Saturday´s Sonora Blues Festival at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds performed for free during the evening.
Most of the downtown merchants kept their doors open late to allow shoppers extra time to browse.
