Excessive Speed Leads To Crash, Arrest

The highway patrol arrested a Valley Springs man on suspicion of drunk driving following a solo vehicle crash early Sunday morning.
CHP reports 22 year-old Joseph Vindiola failed to stop at Baldwin Street at Kirby in Valley Springs. Due to excess speed, Vindiola was unable to stop his 1990 Ford Mustang and struck a dirt embankment. He sustained major injuries.
Vindiola was arrested at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto for Driving Under the Influence.
