Peace Officers Memorial In Sonora

Remembering the fallen, a peace officer´s memorial ceremony is planned for noon tomorrow in Sonora.
Those that gather at Courthouse Park in the downtown will pay tribute to local officers and remember those California peace officers killed in the line of duty during the past year. The ceremony — part of National Police Week — will include a 21-gun salute.
A candlelight vigil will be held Thursday night in Sacramento at the State Capitol´s California Peace Officer´s memorial monument.
