Peterson Trial Delayed Until Next Week

There´s been an unexpected delay in the Peterson murder trial.
After a closed door meeting this morning with attorneys, Judge Alfred Delucchi dismissed the jury until next week.
The surprise move comes after the judge ruled the trial will be delayed so that the defense can investigate recently discovered evidence in the trial.
Defense attorney Mark Geragos describes the new evidence as — quote –“potentially exculpatory.”
He says it was — again quoting — “reluctantly” turned over by the prosecution.
Testimony is expected to resume again Tuesday.
