More Tape Playback In Peterson Trial

The lead detective investigating Laci Peterson´s disappearance at one point tried to elicit a confession from Scott Peterson.
In a taped phone call played for the jury Tuesday at Peterson´s double-murder trial in California, Detective Craig Grogan told Peterson, “You and I both know what happened to Laci.”
Peterson responded “Do you know what happened to her?”
Grogan shot back sternly, “We both do.”
Peterson insisted he wasn´t involved in the disappearance.
The detective also testified that investigators had dozens of reasons why they believed Laci Peterson´s body had been dumped in San Francisco Bay.
Her remains were found in the bay about four months after she vanished.
