Iraq War Veteran Comes Home To Valley Springs

A public reception Saturday afternoon will welcome home a Motherlode Army Sergeant who´s been serving in Iraq.
Sergeant Francisco Javier Hernandez has spent the past 14 months in Iraq, serving in the U.S. Army.
Hernandez grew up in Burson, and graduated from Calaveras High School.
The reception happens at 2pm at the Jenny Lind Veterans Memorial District Hall in Valley Springs, and it´s sponsored by American Legion Post number 102.
