Early Morning Blaze Destroys Home

An early morning fire totally destroyed one home and badly damaged another in Railroad Flat.
California Department of Fire dispatchers say a home in the Calaveras Valley Mobile Home Park on the 200 block of Railroad Flat Road burnt to the ground just after 3:30 this morning . An adjacent home suffered damaged. The fire spread into the surrounding grass and brush.
Fire officials say nobody was hurt in the blaze. Firefighters are still on scene. An investigation into the cause is under way this morning.
