Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Department Investigates Tuolumne Homicide

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department is investigating a homicide in Tuolumne.
The Sheriff´s Department says the incident happened Friday evening at the Tuolumne Apartments.
Sheriff´s deputies say 52-year-old Rudolph Veillette and 38-year-old Isaac Leal were taken into custody and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail.
A report indicates that 9-1-1 dispatchers received a report at about 9:30 Friday night that a man had been stabbed in the stomach at Veillette´s apartment. Authorities arrived to find the unidentified victim dead on the scene.
Lead investigator Keith Lunney says several witnesses have been interviewed and more are being sought.
