Council Looks For Public Member

San Andreas, CA — With the announcement that Gabe Karam will not be seeking another term, the Calaveras Council of Governments is left with a vacancy for one member at large.
CCOG is the county´s regional transportation agency.
Karam, who served three years on the council, announced at the December 7 council meeting, that it would be his last.
The council is made up of two county supervisors, two Angels Camp City Council members, and three members of the public.
The remainder of the council will select a new public member at their February 8 meeting. For applications, contact CCOG at 754-2094.
